This school is Ireland's largest traditional music summer school, held annually since 1973, in Miltown Malbay, in memory of the piper Willie Clancy. The area of Clare has more musicians for head of population in Ireland. Many of the most influential traditional musicians in Ireland have come from West Clare.
To finish the day you can enjoy Guinness beer in The Biddy Early Brewery which is Ireland's first Pub Brewery. Here visitors can watch an audio-visual presentation on the legend of Biddy Early and the brewing process and how the two are inter-linked. This is followed by a guided tour of the brewery and beer tasting.
